There are Two Types of Lovers

There are two types of lovers,

some are put on this earth

to be heart breakers cheaters and not to forget deceivers

and there are some of us

like me

who try and see the good in people,

who are true to our words

and don't just say three powerful words

I LOVE YOU.

As if it was just another way to say Hello.

I have said it before

and I will say it again

fools in love aren't fools for long

and Karma is indeed a bitch.

It bites back harder than ever.

I have realised that tears

really do not solve anything

but it is ok to cry

now and again

to let go

of what ever it maybe

that has a hold on one.

Love will always be something

that is strange to me

it always seem so distance

so incomprehensible.

Is it true that if u love someone

let them go

and if they come back

then they are yours?

Well I don't think that's true

I believe if you let anything go

without putting up a fight

you don't have a chance

of getting it back.

But I do believe

that after fighting,

like in a boxing ring

you can call for mercy

or take a break metaphorically

I hope that sense can be made

out of what I am saying.

Sometimes we don't know

what we have till its Gone.

I am an open book

my pages dont have an end

it is continues

like Gods book of life and wisdom,

my sharp razor pages do not cut,

but if mistreated they will

cut you unexpectedly.

Look deep into my eyes

and if you know I'm yours

why do you deny me?

My body

may have never ending curves

that make you weak

but come and look

a little closer.

My knees are tired of begging.

My heart tired of longing

my feet at rest

because I have stopped my search

right in front of you,

and I have found my place with you.

Eyes can't cry no more,

tears don't fall no more

there are two types of lovers

and I know

which one I am...

....but which are you?

That one thing

you so long for

I hope you find

I am not giving up

I'm just taking a break

to get back my self-respect

which you stole.
